Three international film festivals are scheduled to screen Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’.
The seven-minute animation will be screened at the Living Skies Student Film Festival in Canada, Chester Animation Festival in UK and Cambodia International Film Festival in Cambodia.
Directed by Moslem Tabatabaei, the 3D animation has won awards in ten other international festivals before.
“The animation has one character and one setting,” the director of ‘Light Sight’ told the media, adding “The character tries to escape the room to get to the light he sees outside”.
The Living Skies Student Film Festival, which will take place March 2 - 4, 2017 at the University of Regina, will showcase student films from across Canada and around the world.
To be launched on March 2-11, Chester International Film Festival has been providing the people of Chester and surrounding areas the chance to see some of the finer films of world cinema in a relaxing and appreciative atmosphere since 1970.
The Cambodia International Film Festival (7th Edition in 2017) is the most significant and industry driven film event in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Every year, the event features prominent pictures and hosts guests from Cambodia and abroad. The festival runs on March 4-9, 2017.
